The Lighting Laboratory is a product of the sometimes over-active mind of long-established entertainment industry lighting professional Rob Halliday.
In his work as lighting designer, lighting programmer and associate lighting designer, he’s often been tasked with finding solutions to particular challenges whether that be precisely documenting a show’s lighting or – over the last two years – dealing with the challenges of Covid, particularly how do you light or re-light a show when you can’t get to the theatre. Or sometimes even into the country.
The Lighting Laboratory exists to bring those solutions to anyone else who needs them.
